NEW YEAR'S CLEANSING DIET

Consume as much as you like. No need to feel hungry or weak. One day per week or one weekend per month is recommended for those who are not ill or underweight. This is not a long term diet.


BREAKFAST

Breakfast

Hot herb teas; choose from detox tea, roasted dandelion root, green tea or nettle tea.


Freshly-juiced, organic vegetable juices with ginger, lemon or grapefruit. Use green vegetables such as celery, cucumber, watercress, spinach, limited beet and carrot. Collagen powder may be added for protein support to maintain blood sugar and support liver function. Try Vital Proteins Available online.


Lunch

More herb tea.

Freshly-juiced organic seasonal veggies: cucumber/celery; celery/spinach; beet/ginger/cucumber (add salt to taste to each).


Dinner

Slow-simmered and strained mineral-rich vegetable (potassium) broth, or a simple bone broth with salt added. Use carrot, onion, celery, green beans, watercress, ginger, garlic and Celtic or Himalayan salt. Flax seeds may be added to improve bowel function.
