My definition of pride is the positive feelings related to a strong sense of self. Times when we have feelings of wholeness, strength, and accomplishment are often when we are most proud.

We feel pride when we are feeling good, when we are fully present for our activities, and when we maintain good health. It is difficult to feel pride when we are ill or out of balance physically or emotionally. It is appropriate at those times to withdraw and discover how to recover our balance.

Overall health is maintained, or regained, by a nutritious diet, adequate rest, appropriate exercise, play/work balance, and a sense of purpose. I am proud to have supported the health of our community for the past 20 years and I hope to continue to do so for the next 20.

Be proud to express your real and whole self, however that manifests for you, this month and every month. Be yourself, (everyone else it taken).
